The capital recently witnessed the launch of the 2014 Jaguar XJ at the Jaguar ALIVE Music experience, after its introduction to the Indian market last month. Regulars of dilli’s social circle rubbed shoulders with officials from the brand, both admiring the shiny new wheels. Ramona Arena got on stage and enticed the crowd with the car’s new features, and the event concluded with Ghulam Ali’s peaceful performance.
New features of the luxury car include upgraded rear seat comfort pack, with three massage seat functions, increased rear headroom, electric rear-side window blinds, LED reading lights, 25.9 cm (10.2) rear infotainment screens and a new rear business table. The XJ 3.0L Diesel will be available in two derivatives, the Premium Luxury – priced at INR 92.62 Lacs (ex-showroom New Delhi) and Portfolio – which starts from INR 99.21 Lacs (ex-showroom New Delhi). The cars will be manufactured locally at its Pune plant.
