Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo Wins His Second Grand Prix Race of the Season

Daniel Ricciardo claimed a grand victory at Hungarian Formula One Grand Prix for the team Red Bull. It was Daniel’s second win for the season after the one in Canada. While it was Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso on his red wheels that finished the race at second place followed by team Mercedes star driver Lewis Hamilton. With Hamilton on third position, Team Mercedes in all the 11 races so far, has managed to acquire podium position. Mercedes' Nico Rosberg who won the last weeks German Grand Prix managed to score 12 points by finishing fourth.

It was a great show put by the Red Bull’s driver Ricciardo as he move pass the Hamilton and Alonso in the final four laps. With this win, team Red Bull increases points difference with its closest rival Ferrari while topping the list is team Mercedes with 393 points. It was a great opportunity for the Fernando Alonso who led in the final stages but it was no stopping for Ricciardo, as he finished his 70 laps of 191 miles ( 307.3 kms) in 1 hr 53 min and 05.058 seconds with an average speed of 162.69 mph (261.82 kmph).

Williams Felipe Massa finished fifth while his team partner Valtteri Bottas finished at 8th position. Kimi Raikkonen, Ferrari's another driver managed to finish at 6th, while Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel scored six points by finishing at 7th position.  The wet track caused many F1 drivers to lose the grip, among many, Force India and Caterham too lost the grip and crashed. Rosberg still leads the champions tally with 202 points closely chased by his teammate Hamilton's 191.

After winning the Hungarian GP, Ricciardo said, “The safety car at first played to our advantage but the second one didn't really help us, but we got there in the end and I had to do the overtaking at the end which was fun. He further added, “Its just get better. That’s realistic. I’m young, I’ve still got to keep improving, I ain’t getting slower, so let’s keep on this ramp and build.”
