`Raanjhanaa` star Dhanush turns 31!

Zee Media Bureau/Parul Sabherwal New Delhi: National award winning actor Dhanush is celebrating his 31st birthday today. The actor has already carved a niche for himself, not only in Tamil cinema but also in Bollywood.Born to Tamil film director Kasthuri Raja, Dhanush had a filmy connection even before entering into the industry. In 2004, he married superstar Rajnikanth`s daughter Aishwarya and now they have two sons. An actor, producer and a playback singer, Dhanush has worked predominantly in Tamil movies. He shot to fame with his song `Kolaveri Di`, which created a buzz in the virtual world and went on to become one of the most viewed song on video streaming website YouTube. Dhanush`s journey began with his father`s film `Thulluvadho Ilamai` in 2002. In 2011, he won the presitiious National Film Award for best actor for his Tamil movie `Aadukalam`. His debut Hindi movie `Raanjhanaa` opposite Sonam Kapoor won the actor both critical and commercial success in the industry. The Tamil star will soon be seen in R. Balki`s film `Shamitabh`, which also stars Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan. On this day we would like to wish the actor a very happy birthday and all the best for his future endeavors.
