Stunt driver escapes death during show

A Saudi driver was seriously injured after his four-wheel vehicle capsised head-on and overturned many times during a stunt performance in the heart of the desert.

A YouTube film showed the car was moving at a high speed when its front hit the sand, causing it to overturn and roll down the sand dune.

'Ajel' newspaper, which published the film showing other performing cars, said the young driver was pulled out by the spectators and taken to hospital. The paper said it was not clear where in Saudi Arabia the film was shot.
