Media Bites: RSA boss Hester 'relaxed' about future

Stephen Hester, the CEO of embattled insurer RSA, said he's "very relaxed" about the long-term future of the company's Irish operations

The Sunday Telegraph: Stephen Hester, the CEO of embattled insurer RSA, said he's "very relaxed" about the long-term future of the company's Irish operations, despite the spectre of a multimillion euro fine being levied on the firm related to an accounting scandal at the subsidiary.

The remaining fallout of the accounting problems will be key to RSA's total write-downs at its half-year stage. Last year, RSA wrote £200m (€252m) off the value of its Irish unit. Mr Hester has committed to making RSA more transparent.
