Sport in brief: Murray in red-hot Formula Ford form

Motorsport: Dublin teenager Niall Murray, the current Motorsport Ireland/Irish Sports Council Young Racing Driver of the Year, scored his sixth Formula Ford 1600 victory this season at Kirkistown to increase his lead in the Northern Ireland FF1600 Championship.
The 19-year-old dropped to fourth place in the opening race, which was won by Noel Dunne from Jake Byrne, but Murray was the clear winner of race two, also setting the fastest lap in both races.
