The actor, who has taken a six-week break from his shooting schedule for the tournament, told us while he was in Jaipur, “I am an emotional person. When I decided to buy the Jaipur team, I had a strong reason for it. I am emotionally involved with each member of my team.
And I have no qualms in admitting that they are the superstars of tomorrow.”

Abhishek is also an ardent follower of the sport, and has a lot of knowledge about it. He said, “Kabaddi is played officially in 35 countries. There are more countries which play kabaddi than cricket. And I am proud that India is the undisputed world champion in the sport. I’m sure that a day will come when parents will ask their children to play kabaddi and join the league to earn name and fame.”
