MIC launched at WISTM

Wellfare Institute of Science Technology and Management (WISTM) has launched Microsoft Innovation Centre (MIC) on its campus.

The centre was inaugurated by Director Educational Advocacy, Microsoft India, Lokesh Mehra, in the presence of managing director of Wellfare group of companies Malla Vijay Prasad.

Launching the centre, Mr. Mehra explained the benefits of MIC and how students could optimise the resources that were made available.

Principal of the college M. James Stephen, in his report, said 295 students had completed Microsoft Certified Professional Certification, 225 Microsoft Technical Assistance certification, and 450 had undergone Microsoft Office Specialist certification.

Director of the college Ms. Anusha said the college was now part of the 104 Microsoft Innovation Centres across the globe.
