Hyderabad: The satellite rights of the upcoming Ravi Teja starrer Power have been bought by Gemini TV for a whopping Rs 7.5 crore.
This marks the highest ever satellite deal for any Ravi Teja starrer.
Power is currently in its final schedule and the makers are planning to release it in the last week of August.
While Power was initially supposed to be produced by Y.V.S. Chowdary under the Bommarillu Vari Banner, the producer backed out due to financial issues.
The movie is now being produced by Kannada producer Rockline Venkatesh and K. S. Ravindra is directing the film.
Hansika Motwani plays Ravi Teja’s lady love and Regina Cassandra is the second female lead.
Brahmanandam, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Brahmaji, Posani Krishna Murali and Mukesh Rishi play important characters in Power. S. Thaman is composing the music and background score for this film.
