Unidentified woman found murdered

An unidentified woman was murdered on the under construction fly near Dr Rajkumar Memorial in Kanteerava Nagar on Saturday morning.

Police said that the assailant had murdered the woman, aged around 35 years, by smashing her head with a stone. Nandini Layout police have registered a case in this connection. "Locals had seen a man riding the bike with a woman around 12 midnight on Friday. On Saturday morning, some passersby noticed the woman's body on the flyover and informed the police. Efforts are there to trace the identity of the woman and the photos of the woman have been circulated to garment factories located in the surrounding areas. Once her identity is found, the accused will be nabbed," the police said.
