KOC signs three USD2.34b worth contracts


(MENAFN) The Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) signed contracts worth USD2.34 billion to build three collection centers in the company's areas of operations, QNA reported.

KOC's first contract, worth USD685 million, was signed with Petrofac to build collection center 29, while the second, worth about USD847 million, was with Larsen and Toubro to build collection center 30.

The third contract was awarded to Dodsal to set up collection center 31, a project worth USD805 million, according to Kuwait news agency (Kuna).

CEO of KOC has stressed in a press statement the importance of the three vital projects for increasing productivity of the Kuwaiti northern fields.
