Two kanwariyas die in separate accidents

GURGAON: Two kanwariyas from Rajasthan were killed and one injured in two separate road accidents early on Friday morning while they were returning home from Haridwar, police said.
The first incident happened near Pachgaon on the Delhi-Jaipur national highway where two kanwariyas were hit by a speeding pick-up van. "While one of them, identified as 29-year-old Ishwar died on the spot, the other, identified as Pushpender, suffered serious injuries," an officer said.
In a separate accident, another kanwariya, identified as Sandeep Kumar (20), was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle near the Sultanpur bird sanctuary near Farukh Nagar, police said.
Police have lodged two separate FIRs and handed over the bodies to their families after a post mortem.
