Priyanka Upendra’s brother Vinaayak is Sandalwood bound

Bengali cinema star Vivek Trivedi, the brother of actress Priyanka Upendra, is all set to make his Kannada film debut. The actor will star in his sister’s home production for her actor-director husband Upendra — Uppi-2. His Sandalwood entry will also see the actor revert to his original name, Vinaayak.
In the film, he will be seen as a CBI officer. Vinaayak says, “My character has a major influence on the plot, and will be seen throughout the film.I had great fun working with Upendra and the rest of the crew.”
The actor is looking forward to shoot in Mangalore for the climax scene of Uppi-2. “When I came to Bangalore to play celebrity cricket matches, I got many offers from Sandalwood filmmakers. I was keen to be a part of this industry. Now that I have made baby steps here, I may sign another film soon,” he signs off.
