PATNA: Finance minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav on Friday informed the state legislative assembly the state government spent Rs 674.22 crore received from the Centre on development of 11 extremist-affected districts between 2010 and 14.
Replying to a question of BJP's Achyutanand, Yadav said a sum of Rs 175 crore was received in 2010-11, Rs 270 crore in 2011-12, Rs 190 crore in 2012-13 and Rs 158.38 crore was received in 2013-14 from the Centre for the development of 11 districts hit by left extremism.

Tourism minister Binay Bihari, while replying to a question of BJP's Munni Devi, said the Bhojpur district magistrate was on Thursday asked to send a detailed report about the 500-year-old Kundwa Shiva Temple at Belauti village under the Shahpur block of the district.
The minister said the government would try to develop the temple as a tourist spot. RJD's Raghavendra Pratap Singh asked the minister to use latest information and communication systems to seek details from the DM of Bhojpur. Munni Devi regretted the minister was relying more on the DM than the MLA.
