TRAVEL40 years of Phoenix police helicoptersThe first Phoenix Police helicopter was a Hughes 300C model which came onto the scene in 1974 when the aviation division was established with a single helicopter. Shortly after that a fixed wing aircraft and two more helicopters were added. This photo was shot on April 30th, 1976 .
