BRIEF: Erie County worker named interim OCY director [Erie Times-News, Pa. :: ](Erie Times-News (PA) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) July 25--Erie County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper today named a veteran county employee the interim director of the Erie County Office of Children and Youth. Lana Rees, 36, has worked for county government since 2007, and is currently a mental health program specialist for the county's Department of Mental Health and Intellectual Disabilities. She has 17 years experience in the human services field, including five years within the child welfare system. "I am confident that Ms. Rees brings the leadership qualities and the experience that is needed to continue the important work of protecting our children in Erie County," Dahlkemper said. Rees, who starts her new duties on Monday, replaces the previous director, Kevin Lundeen, 48, who resigned July 8 after police charged him with stealing from the public at his previous job, in Warren County.
