Exclusive interview: Anna Todd, author of After

Author Anna Todd has a lot to be happy about lately. With a six-figure publishing deal and a story that has garnered over 900 million reads on Wattpad, her immensely popular fan fiction After will be traditionally releasing through Simon & Schuster's Gallery Books on Nov. 25.

Writing as Imaginator1dx, she's cultivated a huge fan base who have raptly followed the story chapter by chapter. After was first inspired by her love for One Direction, but the characters have evolved and taken on a life of their own, culminating in an emotionally charged three-book New Adult romance that promises to surprise fans along the way.

Just last week she released the cover of After, which was received excitedly by fans. I had the fun opportunity to chat with the much-buzzed-about author and discuss all the exciting news, her beloved characters and what new readers can expect with After.
