1 held in minor's rape and murder case

HAZARIBAG: The body of a 16 year old girl, Neetu Kumari (name changed), who was allegedly raped and killed by three persons, was recovered by police from a well on Thursday. According to the FIR, lodged by the brother of the victim, Sonulal Razak, her sister went to bed on the night of July 21 and was sleeping with her mother. The accused , Sonu Ansari, Nashim Ansari and Ravi Kumar , all belonging to Baheri village, entered their home and kidnapped her.She was found missing by her mother next morning, who raised an alarm informing the members of the household. Suspecting foul play, Razak started searching his sister and finally lodged an FIR against three persons.in the Hazaribag police station. On the basis of the FIR, the police conducted several raids in the suspected hideouts of the accused but could not arrest them since they were absconding.
Police arrested one of the accused, Sonu Ansari from another village. On Wednesday night, police got information about the location of the body of the minor girl , found floating in the well of adjoining Sakheya village. The complainant identified the body.
