19-year-old boy dies after scuffle in Northeast Delhi

A 19-year-old boy died on Wednesday night due to injuries sustained during a fight with two boys four days ago. Police said Rohit Kumar (19), a student of Class X, had got into a fight with two boys in Nandnagiri, Northeast Delhi, on July 20. Rohit was seriously injured in the chest and abdomen in the fight, police said. His parents admitted him to Guru Tegh Bahadur hospital and he was discharged a day later. However, he started complaining of severe pain in the stomach and pancreatic region. His parents readmitted him in a private hospital. But Rohit’s condition continued to worsen and he died.    ENS
