Singer Tulsi Kumar will be making her Bangla film debut with a song in the Eid release, Bindass. The singer was excited when the offer came her way and she readily agreed to sing the track, titled Tomake chere ami, which is a duet with singer Habib Wahid. Music director Arindam Chatterjee stated, “As soon as the song was composed, I could only think of Tulsi singing this number. When I proposed the idea to the producers of the film, they were in complete agreement and then, we got in touch with Tulsi. Fortunately for us, she loved the idea of singing a Bengali number and immediately gave the nod.” On the Bollywood front, Kumar has also recorded two tracks for Singham Returns. One of the song happens to be a sensuous romantic number. “It’s called Kuch toh hua hai and has been very well composed by Ankit Tiwari. The song has been written by Sandeep Nath and Abhendra Kumar Upadhayay. I am sure the audience will love the track,” mentioned Kumar. She will also be heard in the Jacqueline Fernandez – Arjun Rampal starrer Roy, where she has crooned one song.

Ankit Tiwari croons in Singham Returns

Composer and singer Akit Tiwari has worked on Kuch toh hua hai from Singham Returns, which is sung by Tulsi Kumar. Tiwari is the male vocalist in the track, which was a last minute addition made to the film’s music album. “It’s a soothing, romantic track, which has a desi feel to it. It’s a lot like my signature tunes, which are soft and contemporary,” stated Tiwari. As a composer, he is also working on a few other films  including Yaara Silly Silly, Alone, Roy and Khamoshiyaan, while he will be heard singing a track called Aa aa in the Emraan Hashmi starrer, Raja Natwarlal.
