While her husband, Ram Kapoor has bid adieu to TV for the time being to pursue his film career, Gautami Kapoor, is trying to make it big on TV yet again. The actor who was last seen in Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi, will be seen in producer Rajan Shahi’s show that will go on air soon on Star Plus. ”It’s a sweet tale about a mother-daughter relationship in which Gautami plays the mother,” says a production associate.

 

Star Network to simulcast 66th Emmy awards live across five channels

The 66th Emmy Awards that will be held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on August 26, 2014 will also be simultaneously telecast in India across five channels of Star network.
Kevin Vaz, General Manager, Star India Pvt Ltd- English cluster says, “This is our first year as official broadcast partner for the Primetime Emmy Awards in India. Our vision is to make it a household name.”
Some of the biggest shows that are currently being aired on Star English Entertainment channels, like Homeland, Breaking Bad and Mad Men, have been nominated.
