The construction worker injured in a fall at Framingham State University Wednesday morning has died, according to the school, the MetroWest Daily News reported.The man, who was not identified in a statement put out by Framingham State, fell about 20 feet while working at the Hemenway Hall construction site on campus, and was airlifted to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.He late succumbed to his injuries, the university said.“The FSU community is deeply saddened by this tragic incident,” the school said. “Our sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends. While the worker was not an employee of the university, this sad event will still undoubtedly affect many people in our community.”Framingham State will have counselors available on campus today. State police, the state’s public safety department, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident.
