His next movie, Tusshar Kapoor and Shabina Khan's first joint production which is a Tamil remake of Kanchana, required the actor to wear a sari and makeup but Ajay Devgn has refused to budge.
Ajay's character apparently gets possessed by the spirit of a transgender. And the scene, reportedly the climax, will have Kanchana (the trangender) avenge his murder after he gains control of Raghav's (Ajay's character) body, claims a report.
Only Ajay Devgn won't have any of it, although, he has apparently said yes to wearing a more feminine attire but flatly refused to wear a sari. The makers are understandably stumped, and have broken in to a sweat already since filming begins in October, adds the report.
