FICCI welcomes the reported action plan drawn up by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) to dispose of 90% of the pending high value appeals during the current financial year. FICCI appreciates this initiative and believes that the implementation of the Action plan will help in expediting the disposal of pending cases. FICCI expects that with a view to minimize further litigation, the cases will be decided in a judicious and fair manner without revenue bias.
