Khairpur- The death of a man who was killed in an alleged encounter with police in Khairpur's Faiz Ganj area has become a puzzle.
According to a private news channel, police had claimed to kill an alleged dacoit Abdul Sattar and injuring two others in an encounter. Abdul Sattar was resident of Multan district. However, the family of the deceased has contested the police version of the event and claimed that the police have staged a fake encounter to rob Rs2.5 million value bonds and cash from the possession of Abdul Sattar who was doing business in Dubai and going to Multan from Karachi to celebrate Eid with his friends. The relatives have also alleged that the Khairpur Police killed Abdul Sattar to grab his cash, bonds and other valuables. The family members have called the Supreme Court to take notice of the incident.
