Malayalam director Jeethu Joseph and Kamal Haasan performed a puja ceremony to launch the Tamil remake of "Drishyam".

After successful remakes in Telugu and Kannada, Jeethu Joseph’s Drishyam is gearing up for its Tamil version. Kamal Haasan will enact the role that Mohanlal did in the original. The pooja ceremony for the film was held in Chennai recently.

Jayamohan will pen the dialogues and Na Muthukumar is writing the lyrics, which will be set to tunes by Gibran. Sujith Vassudev, who worked in the original, is the cinematographer. Other members of the cast will be finalised soon.

Suresh Balaje, George Pius of Wide Angle Creations, Raj Kumar Sethupathy and Sripriya Rajkumar of Raj Kumar Theatres Pvt Ltd are producing the Tamil remake. This is one film to look out for.
