I took up a Malayalam film for a change

Her Dileep-starrer film Avathaaram is all set to be released
I took up a Malayalam film for a change
It is after a hiatus that actress Lakshmi Menon is seen in a Malayalam film.
The Dileep-starrer Avatharam has marked her comeback to the Malayalam film industry. The actress, who is busy in Kollywood, says, “It is just that I was free during that time and took up a Malayalam film for a change. It was a good change for me working with all of them.”
Speaking about her co-star Dileep, Lakshmi says, “He was very jolly on the set and used to share his experiences.
I believe it is necessary to maintain friendship with your co-stars so that acting becomes easier. Otherwise I will feel uncomfortable working with the actor. If your co-star is a friend, it is an added advantage and that will definitely reflect in your work.”
Joshiy-Dileep team has delivered a couple of hits in the industry, but the actress does not make any tall claims about her upcoming release. “I won’t say the film will be a hit. It is up to the audience to decide, but what attracted me is the concept of the film,” she says.
Lakshmi is also shooting for a Tamil film, Komban, in which she plays a bold village belle, Pazhani.
