Rani Mukherji stands up for female crime branch officials

Mukherji will appeal to the Police Commissioners of various cities to provide basic facilities specially washrooms for female officials in crime branches.
While Rani Mukherji was preparing for her role as the crime branch officer in her upcoming next film, Mardaani, she visited various offices to absorb the atmosphere and get a sense of how they work.
On her visits, she was taken aback on discovering that the female officials in these offices did not have basic facilities like separate washrooms.

When Rani learnt about this issue, she decided to put in her word to the concerned authorities to make the necessary amendment.
According to her, it is an extremely important issue and requires immediate attention.
