HAFIZABAD - Adviser to Punjab CM on Health Khawaja Salman Rafique along with Punjab Food Secretary Muhammad Aslam Kamboh paid a surprise visit to Pindi Bhattian and directed the officers concerned to ensure supply of sugar and flour in abundance. He also directed them to take stern action against those involved in selling substandard articles.
Meanwhile, Provincial Minister for Women Development Hameeda Waheeduddin visited Ramazan Bazaar in Kaleke Mandi and Hafizabad, second visit to Ramazan Bazaars in the district within a week.
She checked rates and quality of different fruits, vegetables and other commodities and expressed satisfaction over the provision of essentials in the Ramazan Bazaars at reasonable rates.
