Catherine Tresa is Jayam Ravi's second

Her debut film with Karthi is yet to hit the screens, but Catherine Tresa has been approached for a couple of projects in Tamil. We hear that the actress is currently in talks with the makers of Suraaj���s untitled film, which has Jayam Ravi in the lead. The film already has Anjali playing one of the female leads, and Catherine is likely to be cast as the other female lead in the film.
A source close to the unit says, ���The crew is currently shooting the portions involving Anjali and Jayam Ravi. As per the script, Anjali will be playing a rural character in the film. The script demanded one more female lead, for a character who is an urban girl. Catherine Tresa has been approached to play that stylish character. She is yet to sign on the dotted line.���
Catherine recently came in for praise for her rocking performance at the Filmfare Awards function, in which she danced to a medley of hit numbers from Rajinikanth���s films.
