FWH Fire Wall Hanger. The FWH Series Fire Wall Hanger is the industry’s most economical solution for attaching floor framing to two-hour, fire-rated wall assemblies in wood-frame construction. The FWH Series Fire Wall Hanger’s advanced design has an ASTM E814 approved two-hour resistive rating, and it allows framers to install the hangers before the drywall is attached. This allows the project to be completely framed-up and weather-tight when the drywall sheathing is delivered to the site. The FWH Series Fire Wall Hanger accommodates two plies of 5/8” drywall and is designed to support 4x2 open-web trusses and the most common I-joist sizes. Driving points easily mark slot locations on drywall without measuring.
