YEREVAN, JULY 22, ARMENPRESS. Armenia will finish the negotiations on accession to the Eurasian Economic Union by October and will join the union from January 1 of next year. This was stated by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan during a briefing with the reporters in Gyumri. "We will sign the agreement by the end of October. I am sure that since January 2015 we will fully join the Eurasian Economic Union," reports “Armenpress”, citing the Prime Minister.

In response to the reporters’ question of what was the cause of delay, the Prime Minister said that there had been technical issues that were settled, and there was no hindering circumstance. "I assure that we will complete the process in October and will join the union since January,” he added.
