Woman dies in hospital, family blames doctors of negligence

AHMEDABAD: A woman, Rajkumari Maurya, who was admitted in a local hospital for treatment of stone in pancreas passed away following which her family members alleged that Maurya died due to doctors' negligence.
"We have registered a case of accidental death. It is only after the postmortem report things will get clear," police officials of Bapunagar police station said.
Police sources said Maurya, a resident of Amraiwadi was admitted in Tapan Hospital of Bapunagar for treatment of stone in pancreas.
However after the operation, Maurya's condition worsened. "She again was operated but as the condition did not improve she had to put on ventilator," said Bapunagar police officials.
