Actor Murli Sharma, who has acted in a couple of Marathi films before will be seen in a new avatar in Makarand Deshpande's upcoming film. The actor who was last seen in the Hindi film '
Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai' has donned the khaki for his role as an encounter specialist cop in the Marathi film '
Saturday Sunday'. The film is about eight gangsters who are brought together by the Home Minister and told to follow his instructions if they want to live after the weekend.
Directed by Makarand, the film also has actors
Amruta Subhash, Nachiket Joshi, Nagesh Bhosale and
Neha Joshi in it. Amruta plays the role of an actress and Nagesh plays the Home Minister.
The first look of the film was recently launched by
Anurag Kashyap and
Vipul Amrutlal Shah at a function in Mumbai.
