Citi Research citing its sources indicated that Macau table GGR for the first 20 days in July reached MOP16.8bn (or MOP17.5bn, including an estimated MOP774m in slot-related revenues).
Total daily GGR run rate over the past week equated to MOP837m/day, lower than the
MOP995m/day achieved in the prior week and the MOP907m/day in June.
Citi said the weak daily run rate was probably due to low VIP hold while the mass growth remained largely solid. Reflecting the recent GGR trends, the research house lowered its July GGR forecast from MOP30bn to MOP28.5bn (-3% YoY).
