Cobra found in Yogi's house!

In a bizarre coincidence, a cobra was found in the actor's home after his new film in which he plays a snake charmer was announced
Cobra found in Yogi's house!
It was one co-incidence too many. Loose Mada Yogish's new film 'Snake Naga,' is turning out to be the favourite haunt of, well, snakes. It is common for snake charmers to have the prefix 'snake' before their names and the title of the film left no one in doubt what the film was about. However, there is more to snakes than just the title of the film. Last week, the film was officially announced and is being made under the Yograj Movies (of Yograj Bhat) banner.
Poetess Prathibha Nandakumar is making her debut as a director in what will be Yogi's 25th film as leading man. A few days after the film was announced, a real cobra was found in the residence of Yogish. It was caught by forest officials and released in a nearby forest. It could have been just a strange coincidence, but the director reveals there is more to it.
A month ago, Prathibha narrated the story to Yogish and his parents (father Siddaraju is a producer). “Yogi's mother told me that after they constructed the house years ago, they were told that there was an ant-hill with a snake in it on the plot which had been destroyed. After many years, they decided to hold a 'sarpa samskara pooje,' (to atone for the sin of killing a snake). She told me that Snake Naga was the first offer Yogi has received after the pooje and took it as a divine sign.“
It is still not the end of the story. The date for shooting the film was not yet finalized. After deliberations, it was decided to start from July 31. On second thoughts, they decided to seek an auspicious date from a priest. They were asked to start shooting on July 31, since it was Nagapanchami, the annual Hindu festival of worshipping snakes! The team had not realized until then that the day they had fixed was indeed Naga panchami.
Prathibha Nandakumar is not new to films and has been involved in many projects including Dhanush's latest Tamil film. She says no other leading man could have played this role. “Yogi is compared to Dhanush for his looks and therefore some producers remake Dhanush's Tamil movies with Yogi in Kannada. But there is more similarity between the two as I have known both. Yogi is as simple a person as Dhanush.
I cannot think of anyone else who would have agreed to play a snake charmer considering that some leading men do not even want to change their styles. Yogi fits the story like no one else,“ she says.
