Holly Carpenter ditched her high heels for some wellies after landing a guest slot on Oliver Callan's new RTE show.

It was back to basics for the former Miss Ireland (23), as she got down and dirty on the farm to film a slot for the comedian's popular Friday night show, Callan's Kicks.

The mimic couldn't help poking fun at the whole Garth Brooks fiasco as he enlisted the services of Holly to help him make a parody of Nathan Carter's biggest hit Wagon Wheel.

The country star was due to support Brooks at two of his five gigs in Croker with the show airing on the same night as one of the cancelled concerts.

In a setting that's a far cry from her usual glamorous hang-outs, the model posted a picture of her dressed in a checked shirt with some cows in the background.

"I'm the love interest in a parody country music video," Holly told the Herald. "We're filming on a farm in north county Dublin and it's going out the day Garth Brooks should have been playing Croke Park. It's on Friday in the Late Late slot."

The other half of rugby star Cian Healy clearly enjoyed her time on the farm with the funnyman as she described the day as "hilarious".

Callan, who's in the middle of his six-part run in a Friday night prime time slot on RTE2, is clearly taking a leaf out of Republic of Telly's book when it comes to enlisting some top beauties on his show.

He has written the new show with Republic Of Telly's creator James Cotter, whose comedy programme regularly features models like Georgia Salpa, Nadia Forde and Daniella Moyles.

It's a busy time for well-known model Holly, who recently switched from Andrea Roche's agency to Assets.

The Raheny native, who's been dating Healy for two years, has also ditched her blonde locks to go back to her natural brunette hairstyle.

A dab hand at being in front of the TV cameras, Holly previously appeared on 'Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model', where she made it to the final seven.
