Man mauled to death in Bandhavgarh

BHOPAL: A 45-year-old man was mauled to death by a tigress and its cubs at buffer zone of Bandhavgarh National Park (BNP), Katni district late on Sunday night. Dead was identified as Ramdas Baiga, resident of Baghdhari village.
He had left his home at 5.30pm to search for his missing buffalo in BNP's Khatoli range and did not return. Only his skull was found on Monday morning, said forest officers.Forest department has announced a compensation of Rs 10,000 to his family members.
