Chib visits Pak firing affected villages

R S PURA, July 21: Former Minister and PCC general secretary, R S Chib today visited border area of Suchetgarh and took stock of the problems of the people affected with the Pakistani firing.
Mr Chib visited village Sai, Pangali, Fagla, Ghore, Garna and Garni and listened to the problems of the villagers.  The people told him that there was heavy loss of cattle heads and the crop due to heavy shelling by Pakistani troops in this area. The inhabitants of the area are frightened and there is sense of insecurity among the border area people.
The PCC leader urged upon the Central Government  to deal with the situation firmly and also demanded the  State Government to take appropriate measures to ensure security of the residents of these areas.
Prominent among those who accompanied Mr Chib included Sobha Singh, Paras Ram, Sohan Singh, Ch Mohinder Singh, Jalandar Singh, Numberdar Ujagar Singh and Subedar Ajit Singh.
