Cannabis Now Magazine recently announced that the publication will attend four major cannabis events this summer. During these festivals, they will strengthen their relationship with the cannabis community by providing additional information and resources to attendees in an effort to continue their mission to enlighten and educate the public on the legitimate and beneficial side of cannabis.

The publication will be attending the Cannabis Cup in San Francisco, the Kush Expo in Anaheim, the Champs Trade Show in Las Vegas and Hempcon in San Francisco.

As medical and recreational legalization spreads across the country, the cannabis industry is becoming more prevalent in mainstream dialogue. Cannabis Now Magazine's efforts to embrace and promote the responsible side of recreational use could not come at a better time than now. In the most recent issue, they explore the concept of medical versus recreational consumption in an effort to further cement their dedication to distancing themselves from negative stoner stereotypes that don't contribute to the progression of the perception of marijuana consumers.

Angela Bacca, contributor for Cannabis Now Magazine, notes, “With the new legalization laws in Washington and Colorado, a semantic divide has been created between ‘medical' and ‘recreational' use. These sorts of distinctions ultimately play a role in legislation to come as well as public perception towards the cannabis plant as a whole.”

The nationally-distributed publication will also sponsor the Seattle Hempfest and Chalice California, marking important partnerships during this pivotal time in cannabis culture.

Hempfest will take place for the first time since Washington voters approved measure I-502 which legalized the recreational use of marijuana for consumers over the age of 21 throughout the state.

Chalice California will focus on cannabis concentrates or dabs. Despite dabbing's reputation as excessive or overboard use of medical marijuana, the substance can be highly beneficial for those who need potent dosages for their ailments.

In the latest issue of Cannabis Now Magazine Rick Pfrommer, director of education at Harborside Health Center in Oakland, California, asserted that, “Responsible or safe dabbing has become a part of our wellness culture. From the wheelchair-bound MS patient to young people new to this culture, dabbing has grown up and found its place in the world of medical marijuana.”
