Did Gabbar inspire Sachin's look?

Sachin Pilgaonkar seems to have taken a page out from his 'Sholay' co-star Amjad Khan's book.
The veteran has donned a completely new getup for his upcoming film 'Sangto Aika' where he plays the role of a performing artist. Whats more is that the look is kind of similar to that of Gabbar Singh's from 'Sholay'. A full grown beard and a taabiz around his neck do remind us of the role Amjad Khan essayed in the cult film.
Interestingly, Sachin has acted in 'Sholay'alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra.
