Akshay Kumar to adapt novel Bombay Duck Is A Fish into a show
The show will be produced jointly by Sagar Pictures and The Grazing Goat.
After Jamai Raja, featuring Ravi Dubey, Nia Sharma and AchintKaur, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s production house Grazing Goat Pictures — co-owned by AshviniYardi, a former channel programming head — is working on their next fiction show.

So, what will it be like? “It's an adaptation of popular novel Bombay Duck Is A Fish by KanikaDhillon,” says a source working on the show.The story revolves around NekiBrar, who moves to Mumbai to make it big as a Bollywood filmmaker. Little does she suspect that she will soon find herself standing on the terrace of her building, a bottle of wine and her diary in hand, contemplating how best to jump. “The casting is going on,” adds the source.
