Being a judge is no laughing matter. Other than the fact that they have to sit in court and listen to people's complaints all day long, they also have to deal with some militant lawyers who don't like it if the decision goes against them.

In CCTV footage uploaded on July 18, a lawyer, presumably unhappy with a judge's decision, can actually be seen slapping the judge thrice with a flyswatter.

Evgeniy Tankov, 35, a Kazakh lawyer, was hired by a client to represent him in an inheritance case.

However, when things began going against his client, Tankov apparently became quite unhappy and approached the judge and said, "Let's not hang about arguing the law here, let's decide this with flyswatters."

He then proceeded to slap the judge thrice with the flyswatter before he was stopped by the other side's lawyer.

Incensed at this affront to his position, the judge comes around and starts wrestling with Tankov as well.

Tankov has been barred from practising and also faces criminal charges of assault that could see him jailed for up to 10 years.
