Baba Ramdev on Sunday said that his aide Ved Pratap Vaidik should be charged with sedition if he had made a statement that Kashmir should be an independent nation. However, he said that Vaidik has made it clear that he has not given such a statement.

While talking to Rahul Kanwal in an exclusive interview with Aaj Tak, Ramdev said, "Vaidik should be charged with sedition charges if he talked about the separation of India from Kashmir. But, Vaidik told me that media is showing half of his statement to prove him wrong."

Vaidik is not my spokesperson

"Ved Pratap Vaidik is not my spokesperson. He is only my supporter. He is very close to me. Is it wrong, if someone works for the goodness of India and supports me?"

Commenting on 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed, Ramdev said, "He is a monster. He should be shot dead. Vaidik-Hafiz meeting was a personal matter. Whoever he meets, does not concern anyone. I am asking you; can't a journalist meet a terrorist?"

On Black money

"Discussion with Arun Jaitley to bring back the black money from foreign countries are going on. The money will be used for the betterment of poor people and development of country. We have to seek a way to bring the money back."

No distance from Modi

While commenting on distance from Modi after he becomes the prime minister, Ramdev said, "There is nothing like that. Our aim was to bring change in government as well as system. Now, after the work is done, I am back to my spiritual world. Narendra Modi is busy with his 'Rajdharma' and I am a non-political person.

Speaking on action against Robert Vadra, Ramdev said that action should be taken against the culprit whether he is Vadra or Rahul or Sonia but no patriotic person should be tortured.
