JAMSHEDPUR: Rajya Sabha member and former Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) President, Pradip Balmuchu today said three political parties, besides the current ally JMM, have expressed willingness to forge alliance with Congress for the assembly election in the state likely to be held in couple of months.

"Apart from our natural ally JMM, three political parties--Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) (JVM), Janata Dal (United) and Trinamool Congress-have approached us and expressed willingness to have a truck with the party. "We are expecting the election would take place in next two months time and the party high command will have to take a decision in this regard soon," Balmuchu said.

Former JPCC President admitted that they would have to pick up between JVM and JMM as they cannot co-exist in the alliance. Congress is a major ally in the Hemant Soren-led coalition government in the state, besides RJD.
