Real life friends Vir Das and Kavi Shastri turn onscreen buddies

Vir Das and Kavi Shastri are seen playing best buddies in Amit Sahni Ki List. True to their onscreen characters, the two actors have been good friends since 2009.
The duo had met on the set of Love Aaj Kal where they featured as Saif Ali Khan's sidekicks in the song Twist. Having bonded during the song's shoot, Vir and Kavi have remained close buddies since then. And their friendship has translated well on the screen in their latest release directed by Ajay Bhuyan.A source associated with the film said, “The interactions between the two are some of the funniest sequences in the film.“

On his part, Vir said, “Kavi is a dear friend and it was a blast working with him. We are good friends in real life and this helped our scenes together.“
