July 20, 2014
Ahmedabad, 20 July 2014
An over bridge over Nilki railway crossing connecting Viramgam and Bechraji towns in Ahmedabad district was to be completely constructed by 31 May 2014 as per the contract. However the construction work on the ground is so slow that only some part of the bridge has been constructed till now.
The locals, fed up with the traffic diversion which is 11 km long have therefore filed plea in the High Court.
A bench of Chief Justice Bhaskar Bhattacharya and Justice JB Pardiwala has issued notice to state government, Viramgam Municipality and others to file their reply in two weeks.
