Gagandeep Gambhir takes charge as Rajkot SP

RAJKOT: In a recent reshuffling of superintendent of police (SP) officers, the state government transferred Gagandeep Gambhir as SP of Rajkot district.
She has taken charge from Vishalkumar Vaghela.
Gambhir is the second woman SP in Rajkot district after Archana Shivhare. Gambhir is from 2004 IPS batch. After getting promoted as ASP in Gandhinagar she was posted as SP in Anand.Thereafter she served as SP of Vadodara city, Vadodara rural and last as SP of Ahmedabad rural.
As 30th SP of Rajkot district, Gambhir was felicitated by Rajkot Rural Crime Branch police inspector Vikramsinh Rathod and Special OperationS Group inspector Desai.
Gambhir is known as a disciplinary officer.
