Varshatai Gaikwad (Women and Child Welfare Minister, Maharashtra) honoured him with an idol of Buddha, a shawl and shrifal at the beginning of the function, which saw him share some words of wisdom with the students.
Tyagi told them that higher thinking is the key to becoming bigger and successful and told them to follow their dreams.
Gaikwad added that they should “aim high to be a leader in any field”.
At the function, Vaishnavi Vijay Pawar, who scored 94% was honoured with a tab by Gaikwad. Besides her, 62 other scholars, who scored more than 90% like Rachna Kadam, Sayyed Abdul Khan, Akash Mane and Hritika Rajan too were felicitated. From Dharavi, 359 students who scored between 80 to 90% and 570 students who scored between 70 to 80% were also honoured.
