Body with stab wounds found stuffed into sack

BHOPAL: Three days after recovery of half-naked body of a middle-aged man in a sack with multiple stab wounds in Barkhedi area, police on Friday claimed to have identified two suspects, including a woman. The identity of dead is yet to be ascertained.
It is not the first incident when a the body was stuffed into the sack after murdering the man. Close to half a dozen such incidents have come to light in the city so far.
In the fresh incident, the body was recovered on July 16 and a case was later registered at Jehangirabad police station.
Cops believe that man visited a woman, who went missing from the day of crime. Police have also found blood stains at her house. Besides, another man is missing from the area.
Officials said the duo have been identified as Kherunisa and Shafique while the body is yet to be identified. Initially, it came to light that dead was a resident of Chhola area, which was later not verified, officials added.
Teams are on the job to track the missing duo, who are the prime suspects and efforts are also underway to identify the body, but based on the investigations so far, illicit relation appears to be a probable cause of gruesome murder.
SP (north) Arvind Saxena said transporting a body in a sack after murder is aimed to dispose it of at some distance from the spot of crime. People generally don't open sacks lying in abandoned stated. Further, a body gets discomposed in a sack making it difficult to identify the body.

April 10, 2014: A naked body was found stuffed in a sack from a well at a farm near village Purakhana in Berasia area in Bhopal district. The case is unsolved and identity of the dead not ascertained.
March 23, 2014- A body was found stuffed in a sack with hands tied to a heap of garbage near Gandhi Nagar bus stand. The dead, Naresh Ahirwar, 21, was stabbed to death by 40-year-old widow in a beer party with help of her son, brother.
February 27, 2014- A body was found stuffed in a sack with slit throat between JP Nagar and Rambha Nagar area. The dead, Saudan Singh, 50, was a native of Berasia, was murdered by a couple and their relative.
July 25 2012 ? A decomposed body was found stuffed into a sack on Hoshangabad Road near Gyarah Mile. The dead was identified as Jamuna Prasad. A man and his wife have been arrested for the murder.
